The
CAS system is client centric. The client information is captured
independently from the policy as you may have multiple policies with
various underwriters for one client.
Information
is captured with the help of drop down menus, Date of Birth being
populated from the ID number and area codes using a look-up facility.
Capturing details such as the e-mail address and cell number is
important for communicating with your client by means of either e-mail
or SMS. Once you have populated the required fields all you need to do
is press the save icon and a new client has been created.
Banking
information is stored on the policy information screen and not the
client information as each policy may have different banking
requirements. The banking details are verified against a CDV check to
minimise the failing of debits.
